Pitkin County Housing

In Colorado, over 280,000 households spend more than 50% of their income on housing. Pitkin County has the largest income disparity out of any county in Colorado. With a full time population of 11,000 versus a registered population of 17,700, there is a notable gap between the year-round residents and the more affluent, seasonal community.

Introducing prefabricated housing development gives this marginalized population a voice and a place in their own community.
